Making London the world’s healthiest city by 2020
There has never been a better time to create a healthier future for London, a city where everyone takes responsibility for their own health and wellbeing and helps those less able so we can all live longer, healthier lives. This is a future where every Londoner lives a fitter, healthier, happier life; where there is clean air and where everybody can enjoy a more active life while creating a healthier future for London’s children.
‘Get healthy London’ is a London Health Board project that aims to energise Londoners to change their behaviours and make healthier everyday choices. It strives to encourage individuals and organisations to take up the challenge of achieving the 10 aspirations that developed with input from thousands of Londoners during the London Health Commission (2013/14).
The London Health Board is chaired by the Mayor of London and includes London Councils, NHS England London, London Office of CCGs, and Public Health England.
